The St.Kitts and Nevis (SKN) Passport has climbed to 23rd powerful passport in Global passport rankings published by Henley and Partners for 2026. Last year the passport was ranked 24th improved by one position.
St.Kitts remains an undisputed leader and pioneer of citizenship by investment program. The Passport of St.Kitts remains a strong Caribbean passport with visa free access to 150+ countries and territories. The visa free regime with UK, European Union (EU) remains intact for SKN, while other caribbean partners lost their visa waivers. A long list of countries offer eVisa, visa on arrival previleges to citizens of SKN besides visa free access.
According to Henley historical data, SKN passport significantly improved its passport strength from 40th in 2006 to 23rd in 2026, moving up 17 positions over a period of 20 years.

St.Kitts has recently lost key visa free access to Turkey and Ireland. The Government is activiely pursuing negotiations to restore visa free access by solidifying the CBI program tightening with new rules.
SKN citizens are eligible for Canada ETA provided they hold a valid US visa or a canadian visa in the past ten years. Citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis must obtain a valid visa to travel to the United States. For tourism, medical treatment, or short-term business (B-1/B-2 visas), qualified applicants from St. Kitts can often receive a 10-year, multiple-entry visa. Starting January 21, 2026,the Department of State paused all visa issuances to immigrant visa applicants who are nationals of SKN.
