The St.Kitts and Nevis citizenship by investment program permits inclusion of spouse (eg. newly married) in the future, if approval in principle or citizenship already granted to main applicant. The citizenship for spouse requires additional costs (revised fees in 2025) must be paid to authorities to process the application..
The St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) and the Ministry of National Security revised the policies for the processing of “additions” of dependants of Citizens by Investment. ALL applications for addition of dependants for citizens by investment must, first, be submitted to the CIU.

Note: Spouse applications from applicants whose place of birth is Iraq, Iran and Russia, Belarus, North Korea or Afghanistan NOT accepted.
Documentation
The following paperwork is needed from main applicant and spouse to be provided to the authorized agent..
Spouse
- Official signed correspondence from the main applicant requesting the application be opened to add the dependant.
- An affidavit of financial support (If dependant is 18+ years of age).
- Six (6) passport photos (at least one must be certified).
- Completed C1 application Form.
- Completed C2 application Form.
- Completed C3 application Form.
- HIV Test Results (must be dated within 3 months of the date of submission for all applicants 12+
years of age) - Police Certificate(s) (must be dated within 6 months of the date of submission).
- Certified Birth Certificate.
- Deed Poll or jurisdictional equivalent (if applicable).
- Certified National ID(s) (must be valid for up to 6 months after the date of submission).
- Certified copies of current passport(s) (must be valid for up to 6 months after the date of submission).
- Certified Marriage Certificate (if the application is for a spouse).
- Certified divorce certificate (previous marriage if applicable).
- Proof of Address (should be dated within 6 months of the date of submission).
- Due diligence fee in the amount of USD$7,500 and application fee of $250 are payable upon submission of application, for the citizen as well as for each dependant that is 15.5 or more years of age.
For the Main Applicant / Citizens by investment:
- Completed C1 Application Form
- Certified copies of current foreign passport(s)
- 12 months Bank statements (demonstrating their ability to make the government fee contribution
on behalf of the addition) (must be dated within 6 months of the date of submission) - Proof of Address (must be dated for 6 months within the date of submission)
- Employment Letter and/or Business License or Incorporation Documents
- Follow up due diligence fee in the amount of USD$7,500 and application fee of $250 are payable upon submission of application.
