Effective 1 August 2026, St. Kitts & Nevis has harmonized the contributions for the Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC) and Public Benefit Option (PBO), giving applicants greater flexibility in selecting their preferred citizenship by investment route.
The key difference between the two routes lies in how the contributions paid are invested in. The Contributions to SISC are invested in sustainable island initiatives whereas PBO contributions are invested in local public projects approved by government.

New PBO Contributions
The Public Benefit Option requires a minimum investment to qualify for citizenship of St. Kitts and Nevis, supporting the nation’s vision for growth and sustainability.
- Main Applicant or Family (up to four members): US$250,000 in a unit of an Approved Public Benefit Project to be paid to the Unit.
- Each Additional Dependent under 18: US $25,000
- Each Additional Dependent 18 years or over: US $50,000
- Due diligence fees Main Applicant: US$10,000 . Each Dependant (16 or over): US$7,500
