Family applications can be submitted by eligible family members such as spouse, children and parents. Additional costs may vary depending on the age and relationship of family members.
Conditions
A main applicant may include the following family members as dependants in their application:
- The spouse of the main applicant (legally married)
- Children aged under 18;
- Children aged between 18-30 who who are in full-time attendance at a recognised secondary or tertiary level institution of learning (optional) and fully supported by the main applicant;
- Children aged 18 or over who are physically or mentally challenged; and
- Parents of the main applicant or the spouse of the main applicant aged 55 or over, living with and fully supported by the main applicant.
Note: Siblings, grandparents are ineligible. There is no limit on the number of permitted dependants.
- Spouse – Must be legally married. Defacto relationships not accepted.
- Homosexuality – The laws of St Kitts and Nevis clearly define “spouse” as the partner of the opposite sex by marriage. This means monogamous couples do not qualify, separate investment applications must be made.
