Introduction

The National Housing Corporation (NHC) was incorporated in 1996 after being renamed from the Central Housing Authority (CHA) in Saint Kitts and Nevis. NHC was created by an Act of Parliament in 1997 for the purposes of “adding and improving” the existing supply of houses and enhancing the usefulness of the funds of the Corporation by promoting greater efficiency in the housing sector.

The Public Benefit Option (PBO) is a preferred investment route within the framework of the Citizenship Programme of St. Kitts & Nevis. It allows individuals and their families to become citizens of St. Kitts & Nevis, in exchange for making a meaningful financial contribution USD 250,000 to a project for the public benefit. Citizenship costs are additional.
