Today, with support from the Citizenship Programme through the Public Benefit Option, a bold vision is taking shape: to create a sustainable, state-of-the-art educational complex for future generations. For more than half a century, Basseterre High School has been more than just a place of education — it has been a pillar of national identity. The rebuilding of Basseterre High School is therefore not only a construction project, but also a profound act of restoration. It symbolises renewal of a legacy that touches nearly every family in the Federation.

Redevelopment under CBI Program
The redevelopment of Basseterre High School also reflects the evolving role of the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme in supporting national development. The school is an approved Public benefit option (PBO) under the citizen by investment program. The Public Benefit Option is a preferred investment route within the framework of the Citizenship Programme of St. Kitts & Nevis. It allows individuals and their families to become citizens of St. Kitts & Nevis, in exchange for making a meaningful financial contribution USD 250,000 to a project for the public benefit.

State of the Art Facilities
The new Basseterre High School has been designed with the future in mind. The campus will feature 32 modern classrooms, dedicated science laboratories, computer labs, music rooms, upgraded sporting facilities, a lecture room, and a 1,200-seat auditorium capable of serving both the school and the wider community. The campus will also be fully accessible and delivered as a climate-resilient turnkey facility equipped with modern technology, furniture, and learning resources.
