Application Steps

  • Step 1: Select an Authorised Agent 
  • Step 2: Submit required forms and documents through your chosen Authorised Agent
  • Step 3: Attend an interview (required for main applicants and dependants aged 16+ if deemed necessary by the CIU) 
  • Step 4: Make your SISC contribution within 180 days and pay additional fees where applicable 
  • Step 5: Receive your citizenship approval and obtain your certificate of naturalisation.
  • Step 6: Apply for a St. Kitts and Nevis passport for collection.

Processing Time

Within 120-180 days of acknowledgment from the Unit of submission of a citizenship application, the Unit will advise whether an application is:

  • Approved-in-principle;
  • Denied; or
  • Delayed for cause and is still being processed.
