Authorized Agents
Authorized Agents are based in St.Kitts and Nevis responsible for managing all operational, compliance, and submission aspects of a CBI application in St.Kitts and Nevis:
- Advisory Role
- Provide expert guidance on the CBI process, requirements, and legal obligations.
- Help you understand investment options (e.g., donation to the Sustainable Island State Contribution, real estate).
- Application Preparation & Submission
- Prepare all application forms and supporting documentation.
- Submit the complete application to the CIU on your behalf.
- Serve as the official channel of communication between you and the government unit.
- Financial Handling & Payments
- Manage payment of required government, due diligence, and agent service fees related to the CBI application.
- Compliance & Due Diligence Support
- Ensure the application meets regulatory compliance, including anti-money-laundering (AML) and “Know Your Customer” (KYC) checks.
- Respond to any follow-up requests from the CIU during review.
- Liase with CIU with Application status
- Frequent direct communication with CIU authorities informing the status of application, missing documents and other administrative work,
- Identification Documents – Apply, collect and renew government documents on behalf of clients (eg. passport, certificates, visas, driving license etc..)
- After support – Post additions of spouse, children, passport renewals, real estate assistance.
Limitations
- We cannot not make investment decisions for you — that remains your choice after advice.
- We cannot guarantee approval; final decisions rest with the CIU.
- We cannot accept citizenship applications directly from applicants
2. International Marketing Agents (IMA)
Appointed by CIU outside St.Kitts in foreign countries to market and promote citizenship by investment program to global investors. The Role of IMA agents are as follows ..
- Market the St. Kitts & Nevis CBI programme internationally
- Conduct seminars, roadshows, and private client consultations
- Provide high-level programme information
- Identify and onboard potential investors
- Conduct preliminary suitability assessments and Perform initial KYC screening before referral
- Advise clients on investment routes (e.g., donation or real estate)
- Coordinate document collection
- Prepare files before forwarding to Authorized Agent
IMA agents cannot
- Cannot submit CBI applications directly to the CIU
- Cannot communicate officially with the CIU as filing representative
- Cannot guarantee citizenship approvals (sole discretion of government)
